Getting to and from the Airport

The simplest way to get between the airport and the city centre is to take the high speed Airport Express Train (www.flytoget.no). The train leaves every ten minutes and takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the city centre. A ticketless system is in operation: Going to the airport, simply swipe your credit card in the reader before you get the train and then again to go through the gate at the airport and you will be automatically deducted for the correct amount for your journey. For journeys from the airport you only need to swipe at the start and select your destination and you'll be automatically charged. An average from from the city centre to the airport is about 160NOK which is about £15GBP/20 euros.

Getting to and from your hotel

Most hotels in the region of the airport will operate a shuttle bus service although you should check fares and timetables with your individual hotel. Taxis are available fromthe rank located outside the arrivals hall or by contacting the taxi information office whi is in the arrivals hall.
